well after trying to figure how to change a few things  on the super mod i was building i decided to start from scratch and learning from the mistakes i made on the first one, i believe this build is going to be way better and way stronger then old chassis, i started with a walk through mtd chassis, i uses 1 1/2'' square tubing for front axle and 1'' square tubing for chassis braces..

had a question for any briggs dealers, looking to order valves for a 44 intek, the numbers i came up with are 697576 ex. valve and 792200 in. valve, my question is do these come with the 2-piece locks, or our these the regular valves with the cheap slip on retainers, plan on using the 263 ec retainers....

Racing Mower Builds / ARMA Super Modified Twin for 2010
« on: November 13, 2009, 06:17:50 PM »
well after finally going out to the bone pile and dragging a step through chassis out of the weeds, i now have a chassis to start working on, this will be a pretty slow build as time and money allows, although i hope to have it finished sometime around april or may, it will be powered by a horizontal van-guard twin, with a jackshaft and either a foot clutch or a cent clutch, havent decided on that yet, will have 6x7.25 rims up front and 8x8 rims on the rear and mower tires for now, this is what it looks like now...hope to get it tore down sunday afternoon and start  building the front axle and reinforcing the under side of the chassis...all for now, any ideas as i go along will be greatly appreciated...
