Hello guys, i have and older murray frame. anf building it to a fxs. iys beeh a very simple build until i come to where i can mount from axle. wheel base is only allowed 39 inches inuslmra rule book. And if i were tp weld it ontpthe front of this frame. it'd be roughly 44-46inch wheel base. Any help would be greatly appreciated

39 inches is the minimum its ok to be longer.

Wheelbase is the stock position for that mower.

The stock wheel base can be longer than 39". The rules for FXS are a minimum of 39", FXT has a minimum of 42". If you think you might want to move up in class later on you might want to keep that in kind. Most current chassis are in the 42-47" range. My current pan chassis (older Crafsman) FXS build is around 43" just leave the axle in the stock location and you will be fine.
