So if you multiply your diameter by 6% you will gain 12% area (square inches) which is what your looking for.

What did he say?

Just give him a centrifugal clutch. If anyone has a problem with that they are heartless and don't belong in mower racing.
Just my opinion ;)

You " Rooster " have a way with words, NO other has ????? :woo:

What he said. All my mowers have thumb throttles. Will not go back !
Some clubs allow brute clutches and chain drives, so just thumb the throttle and hold on !   :woo:

When the stroke is shorten, the piston dont go all the way to the top of the cylinder, thus, a longer rod has to be installed. Now, the longer rod gives the piston a longer DWELL time at the top and bottom of the cylinder, giving the fuel  a longer time to burn and produce more TQ. harder comming out the turns, harder pulling on the strights, thus more Torque...

longer rod makes the piston have more stroke which brings it down in the cylinder farther and closer to the head

I dont think so ??? hmmmm

If the only thing you change is the rod , it wont come to the top , or it falls out of the hole !!

Piston Dwell at the top and at the bottom

What is needed to flip a transaxle i realized that running 18" tires and being 6" in the air is not cool.

Try this mike, could be a big hit for dial up , slide show

ill get back to this later this winter and make a spool, and brake disc, for the 1" axle.

Here is the first STAB at the intakes, { could be a big hit for dial up internet } its a slide show of the making .

YES - Its a other WORLD !

I went to the parts shead and got my old cracked block out. Im looking at it, i think if the carbs were set about 1/2 to 1 " from the block and set to a pitch of 19 degrees in it would be almost stright into the valve, Hmmmm

We run a oppie ever race, sometimes with V-Twinns, cause no real class, BMMA has a class just for oppies, and its a ball, the class stated "oppie - all engine mods allowed", so guess what, yep you guested it, Im going to build the intakes and 2 56 W's and see. I wont to know how much difference it makes, off the corner and how much at the flag .

t did good was in the top 5 all the time BUT i got REV happy and trashed 5 slinger engines, , why it reves up so fast i could not keep it below 7500 rpm and the rods came out the back on the engines,    oops

I changed it to a v twinn after the first year, I still run a Mod-X oppie  and it takes it shair of first places.

Is this what your looking for?

here is the thread.      http://www.heymow.com/index.php?topic=9786.60

Iv toyed with the idea of 2 56,es on the oppie, and building the intakes for them, short, can you say short, ok
why not 56es  the card does good on a 31 cid sov or 28 L heads, so why not on a 23 ci oppie, if you can tune a tillie run you can tune a 56, hmmm well im going to have a need to do this !
