Without because driver is always shifting around in the seat.   Do a search in George's build.   It's in there somewhere but I don't remember

Nice 350 Peerless Gearboxes.   In my opinion you can't go wrong with those IF you race prep them first.   Looks like a good start.

Overkill yes but it sure is NOT going to hurt anything to use it.  If I were you I would use it.  Crazycraftsman told you correctly as far as what others are running but No sense in going out and spending MORE MONEY to buy something just to have what everyone else is has.  Of course they will be others that will immediately say "you are adding unnecessary weight" these are also the same guys that weight close to 300lbs, they must not be real concerned about carrying a few extra pounds or they could lose more themselves before they start trimming it off their mowers.  2x2x1/4 weight in at 5.41 lb per liner foot and 2x1x1/8 is 2.25.   If you use a 24" piece you are only talking 5 pounds +/-.

Anyway, what I am saying is use what you have.  That is what this sport WAS supposed to be not trying to be like everyone else.  You will be spending enough money as it is no sense in spending more when you have a piece of tube that will work.

USLMRA Races / Re: 2016 Rule Book

On page 13 of the 2016 Rule book an illustration is given to clarify the dimension of "Nerf Bars" that can be mounted to the running boards.   I can NOT read the dimensions.  When I zoom in the pixels are so messed up I still can't read it.  Can someone put up a clearer picture that shows the dimensions better?  Thanks.

I have a excel spreadsheet with all that and the ability to change the gears for the 350/400s.    I have it on my work computer and I'll try to remember to send it to you.   I run the same tranny you do and you've helped me out with mine.

Briggs OHV & Vanguard / Roller Rockers 31cid
« on: September 30, 2015, 10:29:54 pm »
I am currently running a Gteam built 31cid and have done very well this season.    I am looking to upgrade to ECs roller rockers this winter.    What performance changes should I expect?   Will the valve lash be easier to adjust and will it stay more consistent?    What about the valves, should I change them out as well or leave what Don has on there?

I do not know any other ways but I know she was injured in our Dublin, VA race in July 24th.   She was at the flag stand and mower lost control coming out of turn 4 and went through the barriers and hit her.  She was taken to the hospital in an ambulance but later returned.

Owen,
If you hear from her let me know how she is doing.

I have a Gteam as well but a 31.   I have an email from Don and he said .006 on both intake and exhaust.  You could try getting in touch with him but good luck with that.

Those are substitute numbers.  You will need 3 BAM-128's for the 350 you only need 2 for a 400.  Amazon is a good place to look.   Just prepped a couple in the last few months
