Witch rod is lighter, the ARC billet rod or the stock OHV rod?
-
I don't think there is a huge difference in the actual weight but the strength of that Billet rod is very important!
-
Don't worry about weight, the ARC rod is good insurance.
-
The reason I ask is this will be a low level engine not turning many rpms.
-
They should be very close ta keep everything balanced! Ive got a new ohv rod sitting here! just buy me a ARC rod and Ill weigh them for ya!and tell ya what they weigh LOL
-
The ARC rod is prolly a tad heavier the piston is lighter than stock. I never weighed them well I did when setting up a deal to balance a crank BUT I never weighed the stock rods.
