It's hard to find time to farm and race. My racing has been suffering lately. Don't know how much longer I'll be in it.

I know a lot of you work on cars, and I need some weather stripping for an 81 Camaro. Where is a good place to get this kind of stuff? Thanks

Used prices and payments scared me, so I went new. I got. 2011 silverado 1500 crew can with a 5.3l for around $32000. Same payment as a used diesel with over 100k on it with the same payment( taken out another year)

In general, in my opinion, Honda make better stock parts. You have a better platform to start with, but to make it run like Old Goat's, you have to do a ton of work and put a ton of money. After my mower is back together, I think Old Goat will be back to the drawing board. :P

Don't junk the hydro if it id a good one. There's a ton of mowers sitting because of a bad tranny. You could sell it or fix up a grass cutter

There are a lot of used Remington 700's and Savage 110's out there that you could build like I did mine.
I've been looking for a used 700. I didn't realize there were parts available for the savage 110.

Your best bet would be to wait for the tires to get there. I have seen the same size tire vary 1-2 inches.

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll try it this way and if it doesn't work I'll get a proportioning valve
