Title: 15hp Kohler aluminum flywheel

I'm thinking about getting a 15hp Kohler for my GP mower. I heard a aluminum flywheel for v-twin Kohler will work on a 17hp Kohler single. Will it work on a 15hp single as well?

I guess this if for a USLMRA GP, alum flywheels not needed for a governed engine, nor are they allowed in GP.  The only mod allowed is the exhaust.
