Briggs OHV & Vanguard / model 28 ohv rocker breakage

what would cause a stock exhaust rocker to split in two. this is a non-governed pro x motor with a stock carb and cam. aby ideas?

Chassis / fuel tanks...how big is everyone using?

workin on my new mini build. not much room for a big fuel tank. have a 1qt tank and not sure if this is big enough to work. any suggestions??

i am starting a new mini build, i see the arma rule book says it must have an on board starting system.....does this mean i need a battery on the mower or can i use a quick connect with a remote battery source? i will have the starter and wiring, ect on the mower,just not the battery.

Briggs Flathead / walbro lmt carb nozzels??

i have a few different nozzels for the lmt carbs, some have more holes in them then others. is there a chart or a way to find out what one do what? are some leaner or richer?? any info would help,thanks.

just wanted to give a big thank you to tom l for a great day of racing at the warren county fair!! tom ran a great show and brought out the new super mod twin restriceds that he built. he gave me a chance to run one against him,and let me tell you,they are a ton of fun!! handles like a super mod and they will run anywhere you want on the track. folks, this may be the future of lawn mower racing. all the handling of a super mod twi with a stock twin motor running at 3650 rpm. the torque these thing make is awesome!! and you don't need to refinace your house to build one!!

anyone useing mobil 1 synthetic oil in there flatty race motors?? using agip sytec now and can't find a local dealer to buy from anymore......tring to find a new oil.

Kohler Engines / cv15s hard hot start?

i have a kohler cv15s with stock carb,airbox,air filter and a silanced exhaust in my mod-xr that does not like to re-start after it gets hot..motor has new head gasket,head bolts,intake gaskets and a fuel pump.anyone else have any problems with hot starts on these?? choking it also has no effect,once its running it runs great and idels perfect.just looking for some help...thanks,russ

i have always been told that chain half links are not a good idea to use. is anyone using them,and has any failed??looking to fine tune my chains a little more and some half links would be great,i just do not know alot about them.any info would be great. thanks.

i have a chance to pick up a little mower has the word trustworth on the hood.it is the size of a huffy,but does not look like one.the stearing stem comes out of the top of the hood like a super mod. any info would be great!!i have looked all over to find nothing...

got my second rlv silencer today,put it on my sons super stock running a 12hp briggs and wow! what an improvement on the way it runs!!! idle is more steady and throdle response is awesome!!no more backfireing when you chop the throdle coming into a turn. i also run one on my mod-xr, running a kohler cv15.i put the one for an open mod on it witch is a little louder then the one on the ss. i think that these are my favorite new exhaust addition.let me know what everyone thinks. i love them!!

just fired up my rebuilt briggs 8hp,not sure on how much air should be coming out fo my breather vents???seams like alot to me.... motor has je piston with new rings,bored cyclinder by dyno cams,percision 212 cam,and port work. any info would be great. thanks!

what is a chin guard?? and were do i get one?? the new helmet rule says full face helmet with chin guard?? what the heck is a chin guard on a full face helmet....i work in the motorcycle aftermarket industry and have never seen one....help!

Driveline / gp/mod-x-r gearing

finishing up my mod-x-r build and need some help on rear gearing. i have a 700 trans with the 25/25 gear set-up. looking for info on front sprocket and rear sproket sizes?? i have a 15 tooth on the trans now and a 42 tooth on the axel. i need to know if this set-up is close to what i need. thanks for any info. russ
