Title: Peerles 700 oil seal
Post by: JakeNelson2002 on December 11, 2018, 08:34:25 am
New to this forum but have enjoined the info on here for sure. I have looked and can’t seem to find the part number of the oil seal people use when converting a 700 to oil. I have a 762a. Any ideas?

Thanks @big al 202
I ordered one from Jacks Small Engine. Part was $10.15, Tax 1.24, 7.95
The transmission I have is in great shape so I couldn’t find anything else I needed to order so I’ll just have to eat the shipping.

Don’t buy the “OE” seal.   Cross the number at a parts store.  NAPA Orileys etc.

I read online 340387 is a good number, but you will have to verify it.
