if its the peerless , yes its only the output shaft that you need, have one custom made , try to find one or ec sell a kit do do it both side

the same numbers should also be cast inside the block near the crank bearing (not the pan the block) and also in the heads beside the rocker arm assembly but some engines (pretty rare) dont have the numbers cast in the heads though i dont know why, easiest way to identify a 14-20 hp vanguard that doesnt have any id tag is to pop a valve cover and check the casting number 30-35, the 38 vanguard heads are cast differntly on the outside near the exhaust flange so those are easy to identify hope this helps

Approx.120 over 35 cube block with 40 intec pistons with stock length arc rods. 35 or 38 crank.Just did one

Is there a number on the block that will tell you which block you have? I looked for one and only number i found was 3dbs002 on the inside of the block

The crank is shorter stroke on the 30 cube crank

is a vanny 30 crank the same as a 35/38 and if so what arc rods would i need to use with intek 40 pistons? Thanks

Make it mandatory to have front and rear brakes on all fxt and fxs machines. I've seen and heard lots of people running just rear. I don't run this class so just ignore me. Faster you go , going to need really good brakes.


If you go into front brake you can buy a midget sprint or better race car for the price of a competetive fxt mower
