Title: RAGB Lubricant Level
Post by: TeamMurray on March 20, 2014, 10:36:46 pm
Looking for some RAGB info.  I've searched and found the types of lubricants that racers are using in their RAGB but haven't found the amount to put in the RAGB.  What's the rule-of-thumb on these?  Cover the bottom pinion gear or fill up to the bottom of the output shaft?  Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I put only enough to cover bottom gear.

Thanks for the quick reply George.   For an FXS, would you recommend using gear oil or something lighter?

Tank told me once to use 15w40 Rotella.  I've used it in my 700's as well as my RAGB, and so far, so good!
