just wondering if someone could tell me if the head from a gx340 is the same head on a gx390? both engines are stock. the reason I am asking is I broke a exhaust stud on the 340. was just going to put the head from the 390 on it. thanks for helping bob

thanks guys that's what I did. now having problems keeping it running. arc rod, and flywheel, chromolly push rods, heavier springs. we have a stock flywheel key, where should the flywheel be set at? it will only run at 1/4 to half throttle with the choke half on. stock 390 carb with no fuel pump, any suggestions? thanks bob

hey guys when running a starter on a 390 do you use a plastic gear when using an arc flywheel? I know you do on the briggs. if so where do I get one, and how do you change it?  thanks bob

when I started racing the deere herd was the ones who helped me. we all became family. larry taught me a lot about mowers and racing. most important it doesn't matter how much money you have just as long as your having fun out there. god speed larry you will be truly missed.
