Thanks Rooster and Big Al,

I will do the research and gather information.  Ok no roll center yet but maybe someday mowers will go so fast we will need ejection seats with parachutes, but lets hope not.

See you all mow later,
Rhett

Great information and thank you.

I'm pretty happy about what I have found out about this engine.  My next batch of information is directed at what class I can build being my first project mowracer.
I have a background in Late Model racing (crew chief) and would like to build it with some adjustability in camber, caster, and roll center and all that good stuff.  I'm going to be racing in Oregon and know that there is an association running with Arma rules.
My problem is that I can't get a real definition of what I can do in modifications in each class.  It has been suggested that I start with the Sportsman class but again, I can't find much on the specs.
Can someone point me to some specs for each class, mostly Sportsman and Super Sportsman?

Thanks again,
Rhett Lange

I have found out more information on the engine and would like to know if this is a buildable engine.  The engine is a Briggs Model 28R707-1147-E1 with 13.5 HP.  Is there much information out there on what can be done with this specific engine?
Thanks

I just came across a Poulan Briggs and Stratton 13 HP that I'm going to make into a racer.  What class should I be looking at as a beginning racer.  I have been around racing all my life and this is my first look at Lawn mower racing.  Thanks for any pointers.
