My first racer was poulan that I put a 18.5 twin opposed kohler. I lowered and offset it. It was a fun mower but nothing like the mower that we have tody.

I just cut the plunger off.......zip it off with a cut wheel and forget about it if you don't want it

I use a 3 bolt puller and run bolts into the flywheels now.

This what I have as well and normally I can get them right off but this one is being a pain in the you know what. I have couple of hours logged in trying to get it off.

 I have a ARC flywheel that just will not come off. Has any one else had this problem and what did you do.
I am afraid to heat it I don't want to hurt the flywheel it self. I already have a new hub on its way so I'm not worried so much about that.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure you check the crank end play. when mine went it bowed the block and it looks and sounds like your broke the same exact way mine did. I thought that i was gong to get lucky but didn't happen.

I broke one last year and I was just putting around the track when it happen. never did figure out why it happen. I change my oil after every 2nd race.

Here is the plate I drew when I built my mowers I also have files for the front axle, bearing weld plate, clutch, and many others. I was having a hard time posting them. But if any one is interested in them let me know and I will get them to you.
