Coffee Shop / MWSC 1 1/8" clutch hub
« on: April 29, 2013, 11:03:43 pm »
Super Cub is making a run of 20 -1 1/8" replacement hubs for the bully turbo 1" clutch. Not sure on the price yet. You would buy the bully clutch and then buy the replacement hub from MWSC. So for all you billet crank boys, your dreams have almost come true!

« on: January 23, 2013, 06:35:33 pm »
Not doing a build thread, but ill post some pics as I go. Engine will be a 44 cube kohler command single cylinder. The two carbs that will be tested are a tilly hr-191 and a custom billet 44mm tilly from tillitson racing in Ireland. Diamond racing short skirt gas ported pistons. One off valvetrain. Full roller motor. No stock parts in this motor. It will be a horizontal shaft because I hate belts. This motor will be 8 more cubes than the motor I ran nationally in CP last year.

Video put together for their booth. Features the Open Super Stock class which is diesels and twins pulling together. Gives some nice different points of view.

Our engine builder for the pulling tractors is the first tractor you see. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdSpB9xYoOg&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Garden Tractor Pulling / Spindles
« on: December 04, 2012, 02:01:06 pm »
Ok, so building our diesel puller. The engine is over top of the front axle and going to guess there's 450-550 lbs sitting on the front tires. The goal with this tractor is for the front end to not be on the ground. Most likely it will get slammed a lot. What would be the strongest for spindle and hoe to mount to the axle. Also trying to keep as light as possible.

Coffee Shop / GET YOUR TWINKIES WHILE YOU CAN!!!!

HOSTESS is filing Chapter 11 and liquidating assets. Laying off all 18,500 workers. Get the goodies before they're extinct. Horde them and in a few years make lots of $$$ selling them.

Okay, so I may really enjoy Twinkies. :rocknana:

This is stahls personal tractor. They jumped it up to pull in the open superstock against their own 70 cube twin and the diesels. Ended up 3rd.

Russ Nichols on his 75 cube turbo diesel with water injection. 1100# with him on it. Still doesn't have a big enough turbo on it. Our engine that is being built currently will be a twin to his. Well over 350 ft/lbs of torque.

Cp Features. Ended up getting the win in both. Rookie camera operator in feature 1 and I forgot to turn the camera on until about halfway through the race in Feature 2.  I rolled the belt on its side in Feature 2 so I was just protecting the inside line because I knew Grover would be on me any minute.

Coffee Shop / Rocketboy Racing Tires
« on: April 11, 2012, 09:15:30 pm »
Rocketboy Racing is looking to expand into mower racing. They previously had specialized in mini-sprints and dirt karts.

They offer a 11-5.5-6 front wheel designed for multiple tracks. These tires have a rounded outer edge for the more extreme steering geometry that dirt karts and mowers use. The tread pattern is based off proven sprint car treads.

They also offer a 12-9-6 rear wheel that was designed for non-suspension racing equipment.

I will have a set of the rear wheels mounted at all of the races that I attend for anyone who would like to try them for hot laps, heat, or feature. This way you can try before you buy.

More information on these tires can be found at www.rocketboyracing.com

Ask for Rodney Moses when you call.

Anybody know where I can get a decent one of these for a decent price. (Not $500) new or used, doesn't matter. I found cheap ones for under $100 but they look like throw away ones.
