Hydraulic lifters will keep it from going over 6,000. Weakest link is the cam if ya doing anything crazy with it. small block head is fine.  Find a carb off an old k series kohler single.

Super cub built it from scratch. It's has big block Chevy roller valvetrain. Wouldn't fit under stock cover.

Ended up being a crazy year. Built two new pulling tractors. Started over on this. Will be for sale at the end of next summer.

Trike is a dumb idea for the sake of stability. And yes, older cub frame and tranny, but whatever sheet metal ya want.

This is the bully turbo 1" clutch that has been modified by Midwest super cub for 1 1/8" cranks.

Ryan Kerr has been running this clutch for over 2 years with over 100 hp and over 60 ft/lbs of torque with no issues.

MSC can fit your bully 1" clutch to 1 1/8" for $145. So for under $550 you can have a 1 1/8" clutch.

Talk to arc on what coils you need to run with their flywheel. And if you've git decent compression, good luck with the aluminum ring gear.

It started life as a 18 hp kohler command single ohv. Still ohv. That's a custom built 44mm tilly from tillotson racing in Ireland. 44 cubes. Glad I'm runnin the 15" Hoosiers, no way I'd be able to hook up the 12".
Had to remake a flywheel since it has to have a starter on it. Made it just big enough for the stock steel ring gear to fit and dropped it down.  The nice thing for everyone else is that they have the programs saved, so if anyone wants parts they've already got them drawn up.

Thanks Tyler. It's a beast, going to have to add weight to the front end. I'll get photos of the clutch tomorrow. Price for clutch should be a total of under $600. Nice thing is its a Buller clutch so ya know it'll work.
