Title: Forged Pistons for Intek Single
Post by: Mower Maniac on December 17, 2017, 04:19:56 pm
Does anybody make forged pistons big enough for a model 33. I have been messing around and I have found the a 4.6l big bore piston would work, but I would need to have a custom wrist pin hole put in, or bore out the hole on an arc rod for an .866 wrist pin.

4.6 out of what? Auto pistons are heavy for this use.

It was a big bore piston for a 4.6l ford v8 like in crown vics

Still kinda heavy for this use. That seems like a lot of work for just some gain.

I have decided against a briggs, but it was 1.160. It looked like there might have been enough meat, but as I said, I am not going briggs

Stock briggs compression height is 1.032
