The newer style is what I have, good.  I do have the old style on my other stock mower and I have welded up the weak area and they quit breaking.

Will my stock keepers work with the retainers that go with the EC springs??

I have a 98 30ci twin vanny(16hp).  Can the stock rockers handle the pressure of the dual springs that ec sells?

Meant 30.  Fat fingered it.  It started as a 16hp v twin just to be clear.

I remember reading some where about putting larger valves in the vanny heads.  What size, what brand, any info will be very helpful.  Thanks

I had picks of a super mod with a John Deere paint scheme but now I can't find it.  I have googled, yahooed and everything else with no availe.  I wanted to look how he had his Nerf bars done to his finders and the shade of green used, it didn't look quite like J.D. Green. Does anyone possibly have a pic.  I know it's a long shot, but it was a beauty.  Thanks

This is a friend of mines mower and he is in his upper 50's and he don't think he needs to go bouncing down the track at his age, understandable.  I personally don't have one on mine but when I get older I might change my mind.

A younger person crashes and goes to the hospital, an old person crashes and goes to the nursing home.  George you might want to think about that.:)

One of our Old Timer mowers.  If you put a cage on it you need a good racing seat and 5 point harness to go with it.

Briggs OHV & Vanguard / Vanguard Valve springs?

Are all vanguard v twin valve springs the same or are the 23hp springs a little stiffer than the 16 and 18 hp springs?  If they are all the same, who offers a good single valve spring that is stiffer than stock.
