Briggs OHV & Vanguard / Big Bore 2 Barrel Carburetor
« on: September 04, 2018, 11:30:38 am »
I am looking for a big bore 2 Barrel Carburetor for V-Twin. I currently have an EC Dom gas carb that only has a 27mm exit bore and would like to know where to buy the Generac 32mm exit bore carburetor? Does anyone know what the actual part number is for these carburetors?

Briggs OHV & Vanguard / Big Bore 49 Intek V-Twin??
« on: March 27, 2018, 10:30:30 am »
How big can you bore out a 49 V-Twin Intek Motor? I would like to purchase a new 49 Intek V-Twin motor and try to get 58 Ci out of it. Does anyone know if this is possible? Also is a 14 to 1 compression ratio doable out of an Intek? I currently am running a 44ci Intek and now a guy with a big block Kohler is just walking away on the straight aways on me so looking at more CI to keep up. BTW he has 58CI with 14 to 1 on his Kohler V-Twin.

So I am wondering how many of you are checking the balance of your ARC flywheels? I just had a mother internally balanced and the flywheel alone was 18g out of balance.

I have a model 44 intek V-twin that has model 49 heads and I wanted to know what people were using for bigger valves for that head. Is there any off the shelf bigger valves?

Briggs OHV & Vanguard / V-Twin Coil setup with kill switch.

Do you need to do anything special on a Briggs & Stratton Intek V-Twin model 44 engine for setting up the kill switch? Can you just tie both coils together to the kill switch? I thought somewhere on the forum someone had said you need to put in resisters on both lines before tying them together to the kill switch.
