Title: Opposed fuel pump
Post by: Negrey on August 23, 2019, 10:19:31 am
Is it a better choice to modify the stock opposed carburetor for a separate fuel pump than use the original fuel pump in a racing mower? Thanks

A lot of guys separate them. Somewhere in here tells how to do it.

Thanks Al, I've read how to do it. My built in pump works, just wondering if there was an advantage to separate them, other than just that. Thanks

The advantage is that someone may have a regular fuel pump in the pits if they are separate.
Not so much on someone having an Oppy pump in a pinch.
