Whats the average height of a 13x6.50x6 turf saver tire on a 6x7.25 rim? Thanks want to make sure what im thinkin is right beofre i start buying rims

howdy guys, i found a old mower and it has a 813 transaxle in it. my question is are they any good for racing? and is it a 3/4 axle? thanks

Chassis / steering universal in uslmra

in uslmra are you allowed to put a steering universal on the steering shaft on a mtd tunnel. the way i planned it, the steering wheel will stay at the stock angle but instead of the shaft going through the chassis at a angle it will go straight down so it would be easier on the rod ends and linkage?

Briggs Flathead / To bore or not to bore????

Guys im thinkin bout planning a sp engine, should i bore the engine to a 31 or keep it a 28? Whats the advantages or disadvantages? And should i just use a 11hp head or have the 12 hp head worked on?

guys this is just the hood so far, im bout to start painting the chassis soon, its a 1972 ward hood. i love john deeres but they are hard to come by around me so i built this mower and decided to do the john deere paint job.
im also a chevy person so i had to put it on here to, please tell me what yall think. ill post pics soon of the rest of the mower soon

Other Engines / turning a motor sideways?

i have a 14hp kaw with the exhaust on the bottom, with the exhaust being on the bottom i would have to notch the frame so the exhaust to fit. my friend/team mate says that will weaken the frame and i should turn it so that the front of the motor will fit with the exhaust sticks off the right side. if i do that then i will have to cut a big piece off of my hood. what should i do?

Hey folks, I need to build something in a class i have at school and i always wanted a supermod but couldnt afford to build one so i decided to build a run what ya bring mower. The rules say looks like a mower and have a mower engine. This build will be a slow build and will take any advice. Moderators and admin, if you down agree with this build then you may remove this tread. This frame was built last year( junior year in high school) and was made to run with hand truck wheels, a electric 900 watt motor, etc. Now it will be transfered to a 12hp bringgs run ya bring class.
This is what i started with after i tore the covering off and started to get my game plan together.
After i started to get my game plan i decided to off a little bit of metal to allow me to sit like a walk-thru chassis. The original design for the cart was like a box chassis that i could sit inside of.
Made some more cuts on the front and decide to just sit my stuff up to the frame and see how it will look. I put my old wizard hood on it. Im planning on running 15x6x6 on 6x7.25 on the front and racing slicks on a 6x 10 rim. Im also gonna shortin my wheelbase by about 5''. Thanks for the views and advice. .Please let me know if i should continue or quit making a mess lol
i actually got my pics to work. Thanks birdman express. and i will go ahead and say that the steering wheel is illegal and will be replace during or short after the build. Thanks

Are kaw bad about droppin valves when ungoverned? and what would be better in stock ungoverned a 12 hp briggs flatty or the 14hp 26ci ohv single?
