i think the case is bad because of the way it sits on there... i think the spider gears are fine because it moves freely when the cover is off. how could the weld interfere when it is locked up? the bull gear moves fine in it place. ill try to mess with it some more.

the spider gears dont have a big weld.. their pretty flat.. the bushings were in place. i put it back together and it ran but real slow. like something is binding. when i put it into neutral it will move but its not real free.im going to get new bearings maybe thats what the problem could be.. i welded the spider gears on the shaft they sit on.. could that be a problem? it locks it up and turns. like there is no spider gears in it..

hey guys having a heck of a time putting the cover back on the transaxle. i dont no what is hitting.. i have open it up and sealed it about 5 times cant figure it out.. i had the spider gears welded up.its 801-060 peerless.  :bash:

on a kawi. how much could i shave the heads without running into problems. i didnt see any post about porting and polishing a kawasaki. how could i port the exhaust and polish up the intake

George i found a carb that will fit. It has everything the same except the main jet. The old 1 had the jet on the side of the broken piece. the new 1 has it leading to the inside of the carb. how could i jet this type of carb for more fuel. it probaly needs more air/fuel ratio too. can u help me out. thanx

hey george the bottom half of the carb where the solonoid screws in chiped. is that part replacable. by the main jet. the carb brand new is 165 dollars. i posted to see if i could find one used but kawi is not a typical kind of engine ran.

there is three wires running to flywheel cover.. There is two black ones and a white one. someone told to take the two black ones off. they runn to the flywheel. then the white one runs to magneto

when i put all the electronics on  there was this wire running to the bottom of the carb. i used ACme mowersports wiring diagram  and it told me too get rid of that wire. fuel solenoid would be where georgand also could u give me an a price on one of ur carbs

engine tiped over  oil went everywhere, all in the carb. put all new electical parts like push button start and KILL SWItch. i soaked the carb in acetone for a bit. cleaned everything up. now when  i crank it  turns over and but wont fire. but when i spray carb start it cranks then shuts off. NEED HELP!!!! took off all jets and cleaned them..
