with one side already clinched it makes it a lot easier. you can use a rachet strap or a tire band to do the unclenched side.

I put a tube in and clinch the tire. then break the bead on one side, remove the tube, install the stem and reclinch the one side.

why 8? wider footprint or some other reason? I was thinking with a 6 you could use the same tires and wheels on all 4 corners, plus it would lower the cg.

which would be preferred for the rear tires on a mod 6" or 8"? rules are pretty loose but it has to be a mower tire. the mower it's going on is a tube frame with kart axle and a mild oppy. I plan on trading out the oppy for a twin next season.

will the 35 chain handle a mower? I haven't had any trouble with them on my open karts but they don't weigh as much and they only have 20-25 hp or so.

Driveline / centrifugal clutch recomdations

What clutch would you recommend on a v twin. I want to go to centrifugal clutch and chain drive. I don't have much motor right now. but I only want to buy 1 clutch. or would I be better to use a belt on the motor for a little engine breaking?
