Now this will be my first year and I really didn't like the fenders and hood so I will be putting murray wide body...I think fenders...and a old school sears hood

If you read the rules your suppose to run the sheet metal from the same company as the frame.

Lol funny guy I have another hood the one that was on it was a little too cut up

Wasn't aware of that rule the way I took it as long as it came from a mower and looked stock you were good

Il have to take another look at our rule book and see what it says but I am going to keep the stock fenders I like them anyway now. The only body part changed will be the hood

If your running USLMRA GP it has to be stock or same company sheet metal.   

Local rules may vary but you won't be legal at a national event.

We have one national race at the end of august that I want to race at our local track so I guess il have to see about finding a stock hood by then for a 74 dynamark

Doesn't have to be the exact hood.  Just from the same company and look like it belongs on the mower. 

What happened to the stock hood?

I still have it. It is just really cut up and not much left of it

Well got my hole cut out for the transmission. The transmission plate cut and welded in and a tie rod up front.

Well sorry it's been awhile since I've posted been busy with work and racing. Got it done for now. Came in last first two races running a 14 48 sprocket setup switched to a 13 44 and next race is tonight il let ya know how it went but here it is right now
