Post by: shadetreemechanic on June 26, 2014, 08:22:40 pm
I know that this a frequent question. By I was wondering if this transaxle is any good, I mean this numbered one specially and where can I find the parts to make it race ready. Thanks in advance Jesse

An 820 is pretty much an 820.
There is one? that is bottom input (don't recall which). Other than that, some have a 5/8" input, some had 3/4".
Peerless no longer has the 017 conversion kit available.  EC sells a kit. I don't know what it contains.
Transaxle mowers aren't fast, it says so on the interwebz.

Thanks redline I was just wondering, anyway I'm thinking about posting it for sale on here or for trade. I'm needing some parts for an 8 horse briggs so I'll see what I can do
