hey guys i just got me a new cam for my 12 hp and i was wandering about my valve clearance cause as of now the valves don't even close what is the proper clearance for this?

hey guys i am woking on a lh twin and i was wandering if this would work. iam wanting to use a model 42 crank and model 40 rods with model 31 pistons. if this will not work what would be my best bet for a bigger bore in a light piston? is it possible to shave off 35 or 40 thousanths off a +.030 without ruining it? also for reference if a small block piston would work it WOULD be legal in the amra so the sky is the limit here.and lastly i was thinking of using 2 walbro (lmt) carbs is that feasible or do i just need to get the factory carb to ec and let them make it awesome?  thanks guys

i was wandering if anyone could tell me the difference between a 12  12.5 and a 13.5  i think its the bore but i just need someone to back that up for me   i figure if anyone knows its don from g team  what i have found is that 12 hp ranges from 3.40 to 3.42  12.5 from 3.42 to 3.43 i have found no difference in stroke so far and i have no info on a 13.5  if anyone has a model and type no that could be given to me it would help me greatly   sorry i should have introduced myself my name is tim i am from nc and i race in a stock engine class with th AMRA  we run on tracks half the size of you guys and only for tropies and the cheating is outrageous  but is mainly done by officials who are allowed to race.  any imput will be appreciated greatly
