Title: model 28 wrist pin question
Post by: strokerwheelhorse56 on April 24, 2012, 12:46:32 pm
the wrist pin I have is for a model 252707 its from a .030 kit im using the previous piston with a new set of rings .the problem is when installing the pin it seems a little too snug in the piston and the connecting rod moves but it takes a tiny bit of effort . ive built a few chevy 350's and one or two pontiac 400's but this seems a little out of place.

Hone it with a dowel and a scotch brite pad, happens to me sometimes also. Just go slow
