This one was worth bringing this back up.That's just a short drive for me. It might be worth it to run over there to point at it, laugh and ask, "WTH were you thinking?"

I use a Velcro seat cover for "Rear" traction.I can only imagine what that would sound like getting off the seat!
I thought about a finding a 1960's mower and give it a patina paint job and white walls. Everyones mowers look too "pretty" sometimes.. LOLI like this idea. I don't like maintaining shiny stuff.
I would love to find an old school painter to hand letter on my hood
You want to hear what one sounds like without a flywheel? here you go check out the yellow MWSC outlaw mower from two years ago.I've watched that video in the past, many times. Showed it to many people too. I wouldn't have guessed it didn't have a flywheel though. It doesn't look like it's easy to drive in the straights either. Makes perfect sense now, how it pulled the other mowers like a freight train. Sounds wicked nasty!

It worked, but not having a ring gear was a pain and it was too violent to touch the throttle in the corners. Its much easier to drive with the flywheel, resulting in faster lap times.
Also yes the drag racers and pullers need the inertia more then we do, but we still need some.
VERY VERY GOOD Jon! that is a excellant post! The only problem with no flywheel is there will be very little inertia and will stall VERY easy. I understand It's alot of money but the other options are not options!Make a heavy pulley to help with inertia. Something else worth considering, is the lack of a wheel would have some effect on vibration dampening or lack thereof. I'd like to hear one rev though.
