Briggs Flathead / briggs cam
« on: April 22, 2014, 03:29:04 pm »
All the open class 5hp go karts I been around have a .457 lift cam. So I'm wondering what's the biggest you all have put into a 12hp flathead Briggs. This will probably be more of a show mower so I'm not too worried about racing it but I'm wanting something to sound nasty. What y'all think??

Alright guys I'm trying to get stuff together so I can build my 12hp Briggs and I am trying to decide on valves. How big should I go? What works best? Any info is helpful
