C/P racing mower
Haven’t been on here in awhile but have for sale!

Mtd chassis. 3 speed race prepped peerless transmission, 2nd gear is race gear, E.C. Billet clutch, 6” motor and tranny pulleys. Direct steering with E.C. Front axle and spindles, aluminum front hubs, brakes are a willwood master and believe willwood caliper, they work GREAT, 1.25” axle and aluminum hubs, turf master tires front and rear, clutch pedal is on right and brake pedal on left, has rear bumper, mower handles great!
Briggs 31 C.I.
ARC Rod, cheetah cam, chromoly push rods, head is ported, big valves, outer valve springs from E.C. dual springs, head shaved .120thousandths. ARC Billet Flywheel and heavy duty starter.
Only thing know of that it needs is throttle shaft bushing in carb and I have it.
Also have several extra parts for mower, an extra transmission, 4 brand new red aramid belts, several tranny sprockets, an extra head for the engine, and have a set of extra rear tires that are brand new never been ran.

Chassis / Front brake fluid question?

I've been thinkin about getting some hegar front brakes. My current rear brake system runs on dot 3 fluid. What I was wondering can the hegar front brakes run on dot 3 fluid or do They have to be dot 5 ? Thanks guys!

So I've been tryin to change my profile picture becuz it was still my old red b/p and I don't have it now so I was gonna change the pic to my John Deere b/p. but every time I try to change it it won't allow it it keeps saying it's to big or not an avatar. It's a pic from my phone and I've cropped it down so idk how it's to big. So what the heck?? Any ideas why it won't take it????? It's drivin me nuts

i'm just wonderin what everyones opinion on running a 350/400 peerless tranny is. the word ive gotten is there nearly bulletproof. strong trannys. i have no reason to disagree with that. theyre just new to me.  i'm just curious as to what ppl think is the pros an cons to them good n bad. whats some good tips to know about them and what works best with using them. what all do i need to know about one while runnin it. thanks.

Briggs OHV & Vanguard / built 44 intek problems.

i have a built 44 intek, arc flywheel rods cheetah cam ec roller rockers ec air filter kit dual valve springs and  retainers heads have port work. i just recently put the ec air filter kit on and drilled the jets out first i went way to big but now im at 1/16" inch. all of us in our group round here when we've put the air filter kit on we've had to drill the jets out to match the  more air. my intek has great response and will wind up rpms in no time fast no problem there. but it winds up quick when i hold the throttle wide open but on its top end its fallin off. it will wind up and fall back like its missin or cuttin out..or like one cylinders tryin to shut off. other than that the engines runnin great. it just falls off on top end. i fired up my dads 40 cube and played with it revvin it and hold it wide open and it wont fall off on top end i'll have to let out it keeps climbin. anybody got any ideas what my problem is? :confused: :confused: thanks for your help! also i havent got to drive it yet seein as its settin on a new unfinished chassis

ive been told about a 3 speed peerless tranny thats an H shift pattern. could any one tell me what this looks like or any one have pics they could show me? does it resemble a 700?

Chassis / rear bumper tubing size

i'm wantin to build a rear bumper for my b/p mower. i run uslmra. my question is would 1.5 inch round tubing be legal or does it have to be 1 inch.?

Briggs Flathead / should i bore my 28 to a 31?

ive got a built 28 briggs magnesium 28 bore piston,  arc rod, 246 cam, arc flywheel, etc. the last two races it went to pukin oil bad out the valve cover blowby. pull the head off the othe day and it has a nasty scar/scratch in the cylinder. honing it aint gonna get rid of it. and not so sure boring it to fit .020 over piston and rings will quite get it out either. my question is should i bore it out to fit the 31 piston? will the bit bigger cube inch really help much in this engine or would i be better off building a whole nother block.

i was wonderin where i can get the most free spinning  1 1/4 inch axle bearings at. i need the bearings and  cassette/flanges. been lookin on ec's site this evenin but im confused with it to what bearing goes with what flange/cassette

i was just lookin at ec's site and seein as how i cant call them at the moment i saw the Blue Printed Carb listed under the carburetors mowers race prep listing and was wonderin what anyone knows about it. whats been done to it and how much better over stock it is. it appears by picture to be for a briggs flathead. price is listed as 159.95

Driveline / peerless 700s with 9 spline output shafts

ok im pretty sure but can the 9 spline shafts in peerless 700s that came with them be changed to the finer spline shafts usin the same inner gears that are on the 9 spline shaft? so that the fine spline sprockets can be used. i figger ya can do this jus double checkin

Driveline / MCP brakes.

i have  a set of these in dot 5 that i ordered new. and put on my c/p. they are the second set that i have had problems with. i never could get them to work right they will not lock up no matter what. i pushed the pedal so hard that the line blew off the master cylinder once. this is the second set of them ive owned and both sets gave me problems the first one i finally got to work with a another new master cylinder. what is possibly wrong with these. i jus took them offf tonight to be replaced with 4 wheeler brakes...but im still wonderin what the deal is.....

personally i dnt think i'll ever buy these brand brakes again i'm tired of messin with them and  i'm through wasting my time getting no where

ok im havin to rebuild me briggs intek vtwin. im needin some new  screws that mout the arc coil brackets. does EC have them or will i have to go thru arc racing to get them. and i want new rod bolts to.
