Rooster you know that is a process that only takes place under a yard light on a hot summer night.

We will cover that if your going to do said procedure. At least use an engine that HAS compression!

I don't have the actual address. Mapquest Hartford. Come in on hwy 5. You can't miss the get and go. The shop is right behind it. Go behind the get and go. Take a left.  It is right there.

Ricky

Just noticed your coming from Minnesota   Pm me and I will get you a phone number for Doug. He is putting it on. No real agenda. Not even sure what I'm bringing. Going to be informal.

What are you looking to learn?

Paul
Yes Marc that is the Git n go shop I'd the building to the east of that.

YES...It's a Git n Go. If you are on HWY 5 going past Hartford, IA you can’t miss it. The highway runs on the edge of town (small town) and this is the only gas station there. The shop is right behind the station (Git n Go). I have not talked to Doug for a couple of weeks but I'm sure there will be several mowers from different classes on display and a few guys to answer questions and debate ideas and opinions. Should be fun, there is no real agenda. We will just get together and look over what shows up and discuss some of the basics. This is really helpful for newer racers, just seeing a machine and being able to ask questions is a big kick start.

Paul will probably tear down his new top secrete CP engine and show us what’s inside……  ; )

There will be plenty of guys there with some experience building chassis and engines to answer most questions. If you think you already know it all then please come on down and share your knowledge because I learn something new almost every time I visit with a fellow racer.

Please if you have a spare part or 2 lying around bring it along, if it helps someone out and grows the sport it’s much better off there and not on a shelf in your shop. I have a few ¾” axel parts and maybe a pulley or two I’ll bring along.  Probably a box of belts as well. What’s everyone else have they don’t need??? Not asking you to give it away just bring it along and see what happens.

I'm hopeing I get my flywheel off my blown SP so I can bring it along to show the distruction. If I have room I will bring my red mower. I have it all torn down at the moment.

I do have some parts and a chassis I'm bringing. Just need to dig through the pile.
