roster i know what you are saying i work at a suspension shop and i had made some U bolts up for one of our newer customers he came kinda later on in the day and i just shut off the computer for the day and it takes like 20 min to turn on i was by my self and my boss had given some away to our good customers so i told the guy, just take them and remember us some day...  our cost i gave like 15$ away well 3 weeks later we got a big contract from his company because he liked out methods well first job for the guy we made 3000$ and he has been coming back ever since.. i have very good methods in buesness.. and i can remember stuff alright..
i was wondering when you become a small engine mechanic can you work on bikes and merean too?

well thanks for the information i did pass high school only failed 1 class out of 4 years but made up for it in the final semester. I'm not good in English at all though. that's what i failed but i did go to class every day i think it was the teacher didn't care about the students, i had a new English teacher the next semester and he was cool but i didn't go much because i just did all the same things the semester before... went like 20 days out of like 80. passed with a 50 haha sorry for rambling on but i think i will go through being a small engine mac. QUESTION, what sorts of things - mowers do you get to work on in anyones experince?

all i do when im done lapping is grab a shoe string cut the little plastic end off and take spark plug out and shove it in while the piston is at bdc put most of it in there then just turn flywheel till it stops and torque it.... i dont no if its bad for it but thats how i do it and its easy. correct me if its bad

well its old.... have a new 12hp briggs on it.  i have new front axle and made my own ti rods its very low at the front.

i like the hood has anyone seen this exact one before because i have been looking all over this sight nothing popping up..

i love small engine work, i have been doing it for 2 years and i want to do it for the rest of my life. I just got out of high school im 18 and i work full time at a suspension shop lots of good tools there for small engine work and if my boss doesn't have it, he will go buy it for me even if it cost a couple of grand.. he's to nice.. i have a question for everyone how long dose it take to get a licends for small engine's? i live in Canada though. id like to be a regular small engine place but also maybe sell arc stuff and all racing lawn mower stuff.. that's my dream anyway haha tell me what you no about that stuff..

well i fixed it.  philr85 was right i guess i was in to big of a hurry to gap it, it was 1/8" off the flywheel.... i felt dumb haha oh well thanks for the help i went for my first real big ride and it was priddy fast. thanks alot, john

well ill tell you peeps tomorrow ho she go's hopfully i can brake the motor in i P&P it before i noticed the crack it ran before has new carb to so i will taker easy for a little while i honed it out and new rings too head gasket and all the fun stuff how long should i run it befor changing oil? it hav been fun foe about q0 min now

i have been working on small engines for about 2 years now just ripping them apart and fixing them, but i never put one upside down haha but the kill switch connection go's to the bottom...right?
