If I tell anyone to use that unsafe method to seat a tire again, I will be banned from Heymow!!!!
ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THIS BEING UNSAFE?

What I use is a tool made and designed for that purpose. If used the way the manufactor intended it should be safe [nothing is 100%]. It is pricy but I will have this tool for a very long time!

What are you using for lube?
You need a good tire lube and lots of it. On the inside and side of bead.
Dismount. Lube up and try again.
