Title: Model 28 rod in model 25
Post by: HotRodBriggs on January 25, 2019, 11:59:22 pm
I was told a model 28 rod was interchangeable with the 25, and I just spent $130 just to see its too long. Do I need a different crank or just find a 28?

Best bet is to find a 28.

I can't find a 28 ci to save my life, I have a 22ci and a 25ci and that's all I have.

It does work, your problem is your using a stock 25 piston , with a tall compression height, you need the 792307 avs piston with 1.032 compression height, then you will be ok

How many 28ci Briggs do you want, I have a bunch of them.
