I'm currently building a transaxle mower for our clubs budget class, and I'm going to give them a try too. Only thing I'm not sure about, is if they'll be long enough to fully support the hub. Might take 1 1/2 of them per hub.

Make a build thread I would love to see it. I have looked at the same stuff for awhile.

BMI has conversion bushings to step down a 1 1/4 hub to 3/4

Do they work good? do they have one for 1" to 3/4" cause soon I am getting a 820

I'll go look now.

are you wanting it for wheels or...? APS (american powersports), has 2 different choices for a 3 bolt pattern and a 3/4" bore w/ keyway. they also have #35 and #40 sprockets ( in limited sizes).

I took of my transmission and now i cant seem to get the brakes working??? I put it back on and nothing. Its a craftsman 2 lawnmower on its way to be a racer

I would take the pins out and clean them use a dremel in the hole that the pins come out of to clean them then they should move easy.

you may need/want to move the whole collar and arm assembly over to the same side as the clutch. then you would need to flip the clutch and clear the arm from the frame. that would eliminate the extreme angle you are encountering with it now.

I have to run left clutch brake already done on right.

If nothing els i'll come out with some metal and make it far enough out so when I push the pedal it won't hit my bracket then at the end ill come down with some metal to it will lower the rod. If that makes since to you at all.  :P
I'm sure everyone has their own way, but I lean the arm back towards the clutch about 30 degrees or so.

I'll try that

as long as everything clears, that should work.

okay I am getting a belt tomorrow so I will see. I have been working on that thing for about 8 hours now I don't even know how I got it to go that far where should the pitman arm that I have welded to the lock collar on my pedal be at I put it at top and it did not work.

It was aggravating me so I had to come in after I throwed the wrench lol

the arm on the clutch that your clutch rod connected on is too long, shorten it up or drill some holes closer to the center of the clutch.

I don't know if i can because it might hit the belt I'll have to go look in a sec
