The track is starting to come together now. It's 100-125 foot striaght aways with fairly wide turns and is fairly smooth ,but going to run the roller over it after first rain. Not sure about the band ,but will have a horse shoe tournment. Everyone keep Brian in your payers as he has been back in hospital and going to need all our help he can get. Any question you can call me at 256-247-0176. Thanks

Non-Affiliated Races / Re: Kart Mower Class?
« on: January 30, 2011, 10:09:18 am »
AGAIN George Here on another puter too lazy to log out...
The beauty of where we are now compared to where we were say back in 98 or 9 when we all started is there is a class for every desire. We have the super stock/Imow very much a mower and stock engine and for those too skeered to run a mower 4" off the ground and balls to the wall with a 60+hp v-twin we have the SUPER MODIFEDS. These are MOWERS with a mower chassis and we sit IN them instead of on them. THE are awesome rides, bad fast and very hard to flip yes than can do so but its a rare instance they do. And we have everything in between these two classes. Inothers words we got a class now for every one. I think we have the best side by side racing out there. I been to a many kart events and its follow the leader or bump the guy in front hard enought to move him then backj in line. MOWers are different they are mowers but by golly we race and race hard and have more side by side wheel rubbing nail biting two wheel byciling sideways dirt flying white knuckle up on the steering wheel racing than I have ever seen at a kart event. Thats not to say kart racing is not good it is but in its own way in a different way. Why because it karts. Mowers do what they do because they are mowers. I have raced everything from RC cars to dirt late models and brother I love the mowers more than anything except my wife n kids. If one cannot find a thrilling class in whats availble and be comfortable with it then by all means go race something else. The mowers provide an adrenline rush all their own that no other motor aport can provide exactly like it that is what makes it what it is. I hope it stays that way. I have raced every single class there is at one time or another and I love em all. And yes we stress safety for a reasoin and that will never change. And yes some rules have nothing to do with anything but appearance WHY because we race MOWERS and want to keep it that way. NUFF said sorry so long.

This is George, I am in Alabama on Larry n Jeannie puter. The pulse track on the tilly must be drilled out to .125 and the slot you filed should be at least that also this will work the internal diagram/pump but also use an external pump in conjunction with that setup.its a better setup that just using the internal pump alone.

We had this problem and went with a 820 and no more problems. Trans axles with 3/4 axle is just to weak. Popping clutch has a lot to do with this problem. 820 is hard to find but are almost bullet proof if race prepped right.
