Driveline / Re: Gear box

Turn it around, move it over to the left a little, and move your sprocket hub to the left side, and make it drive the left wheel.

Driveline / Re: max rpm for peerless 1050 right angle gear box .....

Mine are set up with 2:1 sprocket ratios on both FXT and FXS.  So my RAGB turns 1/2 the RPMs that my engine does.  Mostly, it will depend on your ratios and engine RPMs.

Tires / Re: FXS 6in vs 8in

6 in rear wheels give less rotating mass, and gearing is different.  I have ran both in the FXT, and prefer the 6" in the rear.  I feel they also have less side wall flex.

Hope this helps.  It was great to meet you this past weekend.

Chassis / Re: Independant Front suspension On Racing mower????
« on: July 04, 2016, 08:30:11 pm »
Solid front axle, no suspension of any kind on front or rear axles.  Who are you racing with?  Neither USLMRA or ARMA allow suspended front axles or rear axles.  Hope this helps.  Rule books are available online.. just type in the organization you plan on running.

This can be done, no problems.  I would rather use the intake for pulse than the Valve cover.  Cleaner, and a direct draw from the valve.

Are all products listed?  I cant seem to find the FCRP 4055 chain tensioner on the site, so I cannot place my order online.

Thanks

The rules state that the engine has to be one made for commercially available mowers. (for clarification)

Kohler Engines / Re: 15hp Kohler aluminum flywheel

I guess this if for a USLMRA GP, alum flywheels not needed for a governed engine, nor are they allowed in GP.  The only mod allowed is the exhaust.

Our home track is just north of Paragould, AR.  It would be about 1 to 1.5 hours from Dyersburg, through Caruthersville, HWY 412 through Kennett.
