HEY YA'LL!!
The Fulton County Small Engine Club will be having a *Build Clinic* on Saturday March 7th, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. in McConnellsburg, PA.
This will be the 4th winter build clinic that we've had as a local group. This will be the 3rd build clinic as a local chapter of ARMA.
This isn't a beat the rulebook to death event!!! We may refer to it from time to time in order to emphasize important stuff or point out some rule changes, however, this is meant to be a Build Clinic not a lesson in rule book reading comprehension.
It is a good oportunity for folks interested in the sport of lawn mower racing to come, check things out, get ideas, & ask questions. It's also a good opportunity for experienced builders and racers to come, share information, and learn from each other.
We usually have a fair number of mowers in various stages of completion at the event. We also have several engines and transmissions tore down to poke at and talk about.
AARON CROWL has committed to coming. AARON will be the main speaker. There's a wealth of information to be learned about the sport of lawn mower racing for anyone willing to listen to him.
You don't need to be a member of our local club to attend. ALL are welcome here!!!
McCONNELLSBURG, PA is in South central Pennsylvania.
PA State Route 30 and PA State Route 522 cross in McConnellsburg. PA State Route 16 also comes into McConnellsburg. We're sbout 9 miles South of the PA Turnpike Rte 76.

Hey racers,
Something came up and I could not attend the clinic. I know just about all of you are working on your mowers to get them ready for the upcoming season. If you're within 2 hours of Washington, DC and will be doing anything related to the sport for the rest of March and wouldn't mind me filming it please let me know. I am available just about any day.
-
I spoke with Aaron tonight and he told me that the turnout for the clinic was very good. I would have liked to been there to see some familiar faces and meet some new racers but my presence was needed elsewhere. My apologies to the racers in attendance who were looking forward to telling their stories on camera. If there is anyone within a 3 hour drive of Washington, DC who has sometime to work on their mower while I film please let me know.
