Title: vtwin identification and carb help

I just got an 18-20 HP twin from a generator I'm gonna be putting in a golf cart. The carb does not have any air/fuel adjustment. I assume this is a preset to run at 3600rpm. What kind of carb do I need to look for to where I can run this through an rpm range instead of the 3600 it was setup to run at

Do you have a billet flywheel for it??

The governor does the speed control nor the carb

The carb you have is fine. It has a set linkage that you need to replace with your throttle control (gas pedal).

I got a carb like this on my puller, 24 584 053 I think is the part #, runs up to valve float with no
problems at all ( 5200 on my bone stock 18)

What does the throttle linkage look like that I need and where can I get one. I'm not sure about the billet flywheel. That's on the pull start side I'm assuming

You do realize that this engine has a tapered crank? I have heard of conversions but have never seen one.

Yes I'm aware of the tapered crank. I'm gonna use the armature from the generator side to make an adapter to fit
A polaris clutch.
