Yea im comfident i can but one main concern is what axle will hold up to that kind of power. On dirt im not that concerned but on asphault if it ever did hook it would twist an ordinary axle like a noodle.

Coffee Shop / Ninja 600 motor on mower?
« on: June 23, 2014, 07:25:28 pm »
Ive got a motor off a wrecked ninja 600 thats in perfect shape. I want to put it on a mower to race at the local dirt track and drag strip. I planned on running a go cart style live axle. I would like to find a way to run the motor cycles brakes. Any advice or suggestions?

Hi guys newbie from Central Bama. Ive been looking to build a racing mower for awhile and was wondering what the classes are and what the rule for each class are. I dont plan on racing in any events just at the local dirt track at intermission for crowd entertainment. I want it to be as legal to a class as possible. I dont realy want to build the motor just take the govoner off. I want to use the stock transaxle to have different gears and rewind. I want to flip the trans on top of the frame. If i flip it to where the pulley points down wouldnt that make it go backwards in a forward gear? And any other advice or a point in a direction or to a post would be awesome. Thanks guys.
