I figured since I have a facebook page, I can use some of the "fans" in it with a monthly "fan of the month" strip. This month, Carla Smith Lawrence.

Mowmentum Magazine / November Mowmentum Cover

Should be on magcloud this afternoon. My work computer can't handle the size of the file, so I have to run down to the college's computer lab.

If you showed up at the ARMA finals, you're listed in here. Also, Rooster and Bert have columns, a feature on Brian Smith and several pictures. A big Thank You to Angie Ward Sanders. I used a bunch of her photos since I didn't make it to the Finals.

What about some of ME to give my sponsors for appreciation. PM me and let me know or Call me on my cell.
Bandit btw would make a great calender model. Hes an awesome chick magnet. All the guys could keep it in their trailers.
Last time I saw bandit he tied to bite my ankle. Last time I saw 'the bandit' my mouth was hanging open at the Canadian power ... And I'm not talking about Molson 3.0. You like you avatar picture or the slidewsys one I got from last year's all American?  Or you want one of your other machines?

The all-encompassing, nonaffiliated version will be done in a couple weeks. If a club, local chapter or affiliated club wants a special calendar done, let me know.

Happy veterans day George! I have gratitude! The sacrifices our armed forces have made is something I could never understand, but my gratitude is evident with every free breath I'm able to take. God bless all our veterans!

Ok. I'll try to keep it as balanced as possible. I've covered more US this summer. The ARMA event I went to I turned a couple laps in. Can always lean back on the all American though! Anyone want to advertise on the calendar? Or the magazine for that matter?

Mowmentum Magazine / 2011 Calendars

Would anyone be interested in 2011 Calendars built specifically for clubs? Here is a January I put together from my archived pictures.

I would need approximately 40 pictures of different angles submitted. Call me, PM me or email me and we can iron out logistics.

In all fairness, Ed, I've only seen you race on two occasions. Technically, the dipstick broke itself the first time out, and the second time, the straw bale was clearly in the wrong position on the outside of the track. So the strawbale technically broke the twin's hood ... and the Mowmentum decal!

If anyone has pictures from the finals, please email them to me for the November edition. I'd also take race results, regional championship standings and national championship standings as well. Thanks for the help. story_teller911@yahoo.com

thanks aaron but im lookin for around the southern area near bloomington. the less the drive the better lol

That's about as close as you'll get. There's several folks that drive three hours for a local race. Similar to the "Supply-and-Demand" economics philosophy. Up here, we have 12 races a year and some of those Salem guys came up for one or two. But, then again, I65 is a fairly straight shot compared to HWY 56 or 44 and some of those curvy "highways" down south. Keep searching. Best advice I can give. or head west to the Illinois bunch. DocBro on here lives south of Evansville, but that's still a couple hour drive for you.

Mowmentum Magazine / Heymow Hints: What did you learn from 2010

Since most of us (excluding the Brothers of the Blade and the Floridians) are relatively wrapped up for the season, what did you learn from 2010? Did it go as expected?

Aaron
(I promise this one heymow hints will make it in).

Depending on what part of southern Indiana ... there's a pretty good group down by Floyds Knob. Hoopty83 (I think) on here is part of that bunch. We're in the north part of the state, about an 1.5 hours north of Indy.  The southern boys are linked on our website, www.mow-wheelin.com. Click on the forum, and you can see their rules and track information on there. If you need any help, let me know. And if I don't know, I'll make something up that sounds good.
