The Calendar is finished and available in plenty of time for Christmas. Hope you enjoy it. The cover has all 12 months on it with my logo, the months as displayed earlier.

Mowmentum Magazine / Look at the Months
« on: November 22, 2010, 10:13:42 am »
I have all the months done as well as all the birthdays on the days. I still have three pages to fill, so if anyone has any suggestions or funny stories, let me know. I should have them uploaded tonight.

I didn't put cutlines under each one because I figured the "Month" would suffice. Coast to coast represented, from Lake Michigan to the Gulf. Thanks for your interest. Will post a link on here when it's uploaded.

Coffee Shop / Re: The reason I started racing mowers
« on: November 22, 2010, 07:54:24 am »
My cousin married into the mower racing pioneering tradition at Twelve Mile. he raced one ear, then the rest of us cousins thought it'd be a good idea to try it. Our builds were shoddy at best at first, then we started researching it, found heymow, and it's grown from there. We're not good, but we have family fun, and with Thanksgiving coming up, I can carry a little extra banter into the day because I qualified the fastest and lasted the longest of a grueling, if not boring, race!

Good story Brian.

Can we get the AHLMR logo on there?
I can try to get it in. I think I"m going to have a couple blank pages because I have to go in increments of four pages, so I'm going to list as many clubs as possible and contact information that I have. If not, I'll just put in four pages worth of pictures of me or my kids. .... Probably better go with the contact information.
WOW!! That looks great!!!!! How would i go about getting this when it is complete? I'm not familiar with magcloud? Nice work!
I'll post a link on here and on Mowmentum's facebook page. Click the link and it will take you to magcloud.com. Then it will be like any shopping online. You can order as many as you'd like (and I'd suggest ordering one for every room of the house, garage and office) as well as a any edition of Mowmentum (saves on shipping if you order in bulk). Check out your cart using any of the big three credit cards or paypal. It's all secure and ships to your door, usually within a week's time. I use the standard mail and the longest I've waited is five days. Hope this helps.

This is what, roughly, the finished calendar would look like. You'll have to punch a hole in it to get it to hang right. I'm done through October. November and December hopefully tomorrow, then it'll be on magcloud.

And don't gripe at me if your name isn't listed on the calendar. Fill out your profile information completely and it automatically logs it onto the "Calendar" tab at the top. If you didn't do that, sorry. I'm not going back to add people.

Jerb, after this project, I'll take a few "grown-up pops" as they're referrred to in my house.

Also, Tom Cole thought Rocky did the calendar. It expires at the end of this year. If anyone knows him, you may see if he can cycle it back through to 2010.

Also, I'm probably going to delete the names off the pictures, simply because I don't know everyone.

I'm putting together little ads (no charge) for suppliers and organizers. Below is an example of February. If you'd like to be a part of this, let me know. I still need to make one for Precision. Kerry Evans and George, please send me your logos again as you both have been instrumental. These will be on any Calendar I generate as a thank you for either financial support or moral during the course of the first year. If you'd like to make your own, the size of the day is 1.472 inches wide by 1.146 inches tall. USLMRA, ARMA, SOMA, EC and ARC will be on every month. Anyone else that wants a spot, let me know and I'll randomly put you in.

I'm not going to break this down by class, so if you'd like to comment on the All American, state your quote, then sign the comment.

Example: "I heard my motor was running good 'til Tyler Frazier wrecked his machine. —Aaron Turner, Sportsman"
