Chassis / Need new heim joints
« on: May 11, 2011, 06:28:55 pm »
My stock steering joint broke today so i need to get some new ones to replace the stock ones. im having trouble finding out what thread/size i would have to get. I know that a 3/8s nut fits on the rod so i guess a 3/8s heim joint will fit on the shaft.

Briggs Flathead / Reliable throttle cabbel
« on: May 10, 2011, 09:08:34 pm »
Looking for a heavy duty throttle cable for my racing mower im using a stock throttle cable that came with the mower connected to a pedal. I need a cable that will fit in the governor throttle control that will not bend/brake on heavy use. Been looking awhile now im tired of buying new STOCK lawn mower cables looking for a new cable to do the job. :) :omg:

Driveline / Belt issues
« on: April 26, 2011, 08:38:45 pm »
I seems that my mower runs strong in 3 gear but when i shift into 4 then 5 then it seems like theres no power to it but when i reduced rpms the mower seems to gain speed. The 1/2 belt im running is only 3 races old and i docent seem like it is stretched same with the rear the belt is tight so i dont know any of your guys have any thoughts.
also running a 6" on crank 4 on bottom jackshaft and 5 1/2 on the top and a 4.75 on the rear.

I thought i would post some picture of my 14hp briggs and stratton motor which grenaded  its self. The motor had thrown a rod and the rod hit the cam and broke it in two and it then cracked and damaged the mounting for the cam to sit in.

When i first opened her up.
