Lol, well thats great to know..!

Out of curiosity... do any of the classes allow a horizontal crank motor?

You would have to find a tractor that comes with a horizontal motor from the factory.  Then it would have to meet the wheel base rules.  There were some but not a lot of light weight tractors.  The other problem is having the factory shiftable transaxle take the abuse of racing.  Then there probably  is not any replacement parts available  if you did break something.

Fxs and Fxt  and Fx classes allow hort engines.    there is a SP with a hort engine also

I guess im unaware of how yall setup the drive trains on these... there are no races close to me anytime soon so actually gettingto look at some isnt really feasable...

I was thinking just doing a horizontal crank engine and chain drive... but im guessing i cant?

Ayone wanna post pics of how to go about this... i just looked at the mower and i am picking it up on sunday. It has a 20horse briggs on it but its locked up. Idk if its worth trying to rebuild or no?

Look under the build sections on here. There are different classes stickied at the beginning of the section.  There you will find how to set up your chassis.  It would also be helpful to fill out your profile...to get you closer to other races maybe.

You would have to pull motor down and see what's left inside any good. Most likely looking for another motor.
My buddy built two of those craftsmans and turned out pretty nice , just a little heavy.
