My buddy and I are in the slow process of building racing mowers but are not sure whether we should build drag mowers or roundy round mowers.... don't have much money either so cheaper is better in my case also that and I think the drag mowers would allow more for the things I know how to do mechanical wise... any and all input and info good or bad is greatly appreciated... thanks for looking guys and gals

Go in circles, more people do it and there are more races to attend.

royalblu68f100 is right.
You know, I used to drag race, and thought that was all there needed to be. Boy was I wrong. The whole "turn left" thing is new, but I get lots more enjoyment. Great people, great events, you name it.

Ya Ive come to notice there are more circle tracks around but some of the rules confuse me...
-
This site is here to address the confusion. What are you having an issue with?
-
Like some of the rules on axles they say I must run a transaxle then they say I can run a transmission... id prefer to run a transmission because I know how to set them up the transaxles I know nothing about...
-
the transaxles I know nothing about...
Search button top left of page has all the answers. wink wink... nudge nudge.
-
What class are you interested in running, or what group maybe we can start there?
-
Im in southwest Missouri we have a track in Joplin but I was wantin to run the s/p class
-
You can use the transmission, download the USLMRA rules and get to know them. Most classes in US use the same basic chassis rules. If it is US legal it will most likely be legal anywhere.
-
I have it downloaded I probably over looked it or misread it... I do appreciate all the help and feed back from everyone thanks

the Project Build (http://www.heymow.com/index.php?board=22.0) threads will be some of the most beneficial for you. Lots of awesome builds with great detailed pictures, descriptions, and discussions.
