i am trying to change gear on my billet flywheel but cant get bolts loose. are they right or left hand thread. and also any other ideas would help

My kids like driving my wifes racing mower and shes not racing anymore so why sell it, rework it.lol My son had a powerwheels car that didn't work so this is what im doing. LOL

Driveline / setup wanted

my home track the straightaways are 75 FT long tight corners. I have 7 on motor 5 on tranny for pulleys, 13 on tranny and 40 on axle for sprockets. I am pulling them out of the corner. Now my question is, I have been asked to run on a 1/4 mile track with 330 ft straightaways. What would be good to run for pulleys and sprockets? Also I am going to try and make it to the all American this year which I have been told are 175 ft straightaways. what would be good there. I am running a modified 31 ci briggs single cyl. please point me in the right direction. thanks again

Tires / how good are these tires

Just wondering how good these tires would be on a dirt oval track, it will be on a modified at my local track which is probably equivalent to a mod-x I would say.

Coffee Shop / raising money for local cause

I have been racing mowers for 4 years now. Last year we started having a pink my ride night at our local track and the sponsor that night was relay for life. All the racers would paint there mowers pink, put pink tape on there mowers, or somehow have pink on there mowers for that nite. It was a success. This year we are doing it better. I got a mower ready for the stock class we have, and I will drive it. Then on Pink my ride night for relay for life, we are going to auction it off to the highest bidder, then money goes to relay for life. Hope it goes well and make it work to raise money.

Driveline / chain coming loose

I am having a problem with the chain coming loose. I have a 700 tranny plate with the chain tensioner that I got from ec. The chain tensioner is sliding after every race. Ive tried tightening it with all my mite but still comes loose, how do I get it to stay. Or how can  I put a tensioner on a spring to keep it tight all the time?

Not sure what happen, was involved in wreck and come to stop, and went to go again and wouldn't go. Axles not bent though.

Driveline / bent axle

I am having a problem with bending rear axles. I have a transaxle with a one piece axle going all the way thru. I have support pillow blocks about three inches out from the end of case and my rims are rite up to bearings. I am running the stock steel rims that are reinforced. My problem is that I am bending axles rite after the bearing. It is a 3/4 axle because that is what fits in the case. How can I get it from not bending without running a liv
e axle and changing alot of stuff?

I have a 31 ci briggs single with a factory flywheel, will the high torque starter on ec work with the factory flywheel? Its says only for billet flywheel. I need a high torque starter for my motor, any help. I can't run billet flywheel so that is out of the question. thanks

well had our last race and the track was ROUGH. How rough, well here is my floorboard. Broke all the supports but the front one. The floorboard is supposed to be up even with bottom rub rail. This was after the heat. I won my heat so had to do something to finish the nite so i wrapped a ratchet strap around the floorboard and around the rub rail to hold it up.
