Coffee Shop / Stubborn flywheel

 I have a ARC flywheel that just will not come off. Has any one else had this problem and what did you do.
I am afraid to heat it I don't want to hurt the flywheel it self. I already have a new hub on its way so I'm not worried so much about that.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Chassis / What is a legal chain guard on an ARMA super mod

What is a legal chain guard on an ARMA super mod? can you use a motorcycle style guard or does it have to be enclosed like most of them I see, if so why? they run an open chain on 1/4 midgets. "road legal" bikes only have a top guard.

Can anyone tell me where I can find a good 5"and 7" (A) pulley the only thin I can find is the spoke cast pulleys.If someone could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it.

Driveline / Looking for a little help with super mod

  I have started on a super mod for the upcoming season and it is coming along well. I have a few questions on pulley sizes that I should start out with. I am running a 44 ci. vertical shaft engine with a centrifugal clutch to a right hand gear box. I know they weld pulleys to the clutch so getting as close to the right size as you can is really important. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

I am starting on Buba's JP and it is going to be a learning curve for me. I never had to deal with 8to1 gear ratio and a set rpm before. My first guestion is what back tires should I run I know they must be 16 inch tires but I was wandering if any where taller than others. what rims should I use in the rear? I know that the rim width can make a diffidence as well. thank for any help you may give I most likely will have a lot of questions on this one.

I was just wondering if any one had any ideas on distributors that had good prices on thing like locking collars and other parts like that. we should all post the best places to buy parts when we find them. every little bit helps when your on a budget.

My buddy Jack and I biult our mowers together and we had a great time in the shop. Lots of rum and cokes and a few late nights.
we hope to have as much fun on the track. We plan to travel some and race at as many tracks as we can. Looking forword to raceing with all of you. thanks for looking.

I am kinda new to this game I ran a kohler mv18 last year and it was compleatly stock. this year I would like to try to get some more out of it. can anyone share some info with me on how to do that.
