A worn throttle shaft and bushings in the carb will cause it to do that under load too

On the seat rule.If your running 16" rear tires you can cut out and drop seat down to 13 inches from ground ,so seat pan would be lower than tops of tires?
owen

Yes, here is the rule:

* Seat pan area may be modified to allow seat lowering. Seat bottom will be no lower than 13” from the
ground. This means seat cutouts are permitted but the area must be closed in so there is no sharp or
protruding areas what so ever!!!

also there are some nice color pics in the rule book...

It cost you twice as much to do it down the road..... seen it may times on here.
The newer racer says most of the time.... I wish I had done it differently the
first time. Here you are hearing to do it more right the first time, than just
getting on the track now. I know it is not what you want to hear, but that is
the truth.

I'll add some to that
Ambulance ride: *$600+
ER Visit and X-rays: *$1500+++
Fun day of racing on a SAFE properly built racing mower: PRICELESS
(and a whole lot less painful)
(* prices are ballpark and from about 10 years ago)

that is a MTD chassis follow this build thread and you will build it once, build it right and be able to move up to faster classes with little more than an engine change later on

Cool build there mate,  wish we get parts cheaply here in Australia I particularly like the wheels ... My stock Murray wheels are letting the side down here.

Thanks, my wheels are from http://eccarburetors.com/webstore/ 8x8 with 4x4 hubs on the back and 6x7 on front with 3 lug kart hubs much better for racing than stock
