I never went there but, I went to the school of Automotive Machinist. If you want to build engines thats the school to checkout. They keep small classes and and give you plenty of experience. They have plenty of engines to work on, you get dyno experience, balancing, boring and honing, decking, flowbench testing heads and you can build your own engine and dyno it down there. I went back home after I got out of school but I have friends that went to Gibbs, Hendrick, John Force, Warren Johnoson. They only do engines thogh not chassis. there in Houston,TX

I don't think Kohler made a vertical flathead. You can get OHV singles but not a flathead.

Blueprinting is a little more than just checking all your clearences. It's more of keeping track of all engine specs. theres a good book about engine blueprinting you can get at any book store. The book has alot of info. in it. Your also keeping track of the spring pressures, lash, timing, piston and rod weight(balancing),cam specs. It's a detailed log of your engine.

Thanks for the info on the Flywheel fins. The tractor I was talking about was the pic. after your engine pic, but your racers are cool to.

Jack did you bolt plastic fins to your billet flywheel or was that your first engine you ran? Also that Case garden tractor you have done up looks really good.
