« on: July 03, 2014, 06:53:17 pm »
Tim that was a great Carb I got from you!!!For what we were building back then it was a perfect match!
But you been out of the Oppys awhile Bro! LOL...
Once I started Sleaving, Tim Isky built me a good cam, etc etc etc,....that carb was just built for less engine than we are building now!

Thanks Rooster!  Havent touched an oppy in years!  Im glad it worked at the time!  That was one of the best carbs I ever put together, and since then I have had absolutly no luck with modified carbs!

Did you look at the fuel pumps?

Are they running too rich?

Did you do anything to the intake?

What jets did you replace?

Coffee Shop / Re: Weird letter from Dan Chmielewski

Google search also shows that he (or another Dan Chmielewski) is a writer for an extreme left media outlet in Orange county, Ca.
He probably saw your post about propane injection on your Duramax, and wants to sue you for pollution....

If you recieve another letter asking you to "put the lotion on the skin", I would probably call the Police...

I thought it was, "It puts the lotion in the basket."

Of your ignition is cutting out. Those coils can not handle much above stock rpm

My coil seems to function fine at 6500 RPM

Racing Mower Builds / Re: George's NEW BUILD for 07
« on: October 05, 2012, 06:40:39 pm »
I got the mower completely dis assembled yesterday and started doing the grinding and noticed that the lip is under the motor looks completely different than the one you built.  Mine actually looks like a 6" pulley could fit through.  Should i even worry about cutting that lip off.  Also, since this is my first build would it even matter if I use 1" square tubing, since i am not worried about weight for my first mower.

If you build the frame light and right, it will be a whole lot easier to sell if you decide to build a new one or move to a new class.  Use what is race proven!
